The Grungy in the Sky tomato is an indeterminate variety developed by breeder Tom Wagner, named in honor of Valerie “Grungy” McMurray.

This mid-season plant produces small, round, saladette-type fruits with smooth, pure yellow skin and thick, juicy flesh that offers a sweet, well-balanced flavor.

It is a result of a cross between a crack-resistant dark yellow slicer and the mildew-resistant Skykomish variety, making it both flavorful and resilient.

The plant is known for its excellent production from mid-season until the first frost.
